Strativia Develops FRIENDS National Center for Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention’s New Website and a Standalone Web Portal

Largo, MD, August 24, 2016 – FRIENDS National Center for Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP), a service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families, Children’s Bureau turned to Strativia to design both it’s new website and it CBCAP Online Application & Reporting System.  The system was built upon an open source PHP Lamp Technology Stack.  The portal allows all 50 states to submit their CBCAP Application and required reporting to HHS for annual funding.

“Strativia is excited to have first launched FRIENDS’ new website back in June, followed by the launching its CBCAP Application & Reporting Application this month.  In addition, we are pleased that 99% of end users surveyed at a recent HHS Children’s Bureau Annual Conference in Washington, DC rated the portal we designed and developed as intuitive and a huge improvement over the previously paper application submission process,” said Kaunda Sampson, who leads Strativia’s Web & Application Development Practice.   Strativia has nearly 10 years experience providing web and application development to both government and commercial clients worldwide.
