The SSM model is centered on mapping the right management team and resources around your organization’s needs. Once your specific needs and objectives are determined, your organization is assigned a Project Manager (PM), Resource Manager (RM) and an Engagement Principal (EP).
Your PM engages with you regularly and manages the day-to-day aspects of your project. Your PM guides and directs all technical talent and resources and ensures that project goals, objectives and timelines are communicated effectively. Your PM offers guidance on approach, managing project scope and budget, performs contingency planning, etc.
Your RM works alongside your PM and has insight and expertise on your industry, which helps the PM find the right technical talent and other resources for your project. Your RM has access to resources throughout our organization and can assist PM with acquiring them in a timely manner. The collaboration between your PM and RM are vital to the right resources being deployed to your project.
Your EP works with you and your PM on a high level of strategic and tactical approaches. Your EP is also an escalation path should problems and issues arise. Your EP usually has more than 15 years of experience and advanced degrees.
