(October 30, 2020) – Strativia, the leading provider of technical and professional services to both government and commercial organizations, announced Allan Schaeffer as its new Director of Proposals. In his new role, Schaeffer will lead Strativia’s proposal process, playing a critical role in its continued rapid growth.

Allan Schaeffer joined Strativia, LLC in June 2020 with over 25 years of industrial experience, including 23 years as a proposal professional. Prior to joining Strativia, Schaeffer was the Director of Proposals for DirectViz Solutions in Chantilly, VA, where he was responsible for all high-profile procurement bids, directed all proposal activities, including scheduling and resource allocation, and led the proposal response to the DoS DS procurement, which resulted in a winning bid worth over million.

During his career, he has led or assisted in preparing hundreds of proposals varying in value from less than M to more than 0M. Proposals have been for a wide range of subject matters including IT, telecommunications, systems integration, engineering, system architecture, curriculum development, and training support for agencies including DOJ, DOT, FBI, IRS, OASIS, JPALS, OPETS, DASD, CJPS, CWMD, DARPA, DTRA, NAVSEA, NAWCAD, OPTARSS, CS TAT, DS TAT, NOAA, NASA, Department of State, HUD, DOI, DOE, EPA, DoD, Army, Navy, Air Force, DLA, DISA.

Highly adept at leading the proposal process, from providing input to the Government to shaping the Final Solicitation documents in the Draft RFP stage all the way thru to Final Submission/ENs, Schaeffer’s work as a Proposal Manager is enhanced by his experience as a coordinator, desktop publisher, editor, and program manager. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, and is a current member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
