Fred Ferares serves as Strativia’s Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for overseeing mission execution across all service lines and driving strategic growth initiatives. He leads operations across a diverse client portfolio that includes the Department of Defense, Civilian agencies, and the Intelligence and National Security communities. As COO, Fred ensures Strativia delivers high-quality, compliant, and impactful services while maintaining operational excellence at scale.

Prior to joining Strativia, Fred was President of Infinity Technology, where he led strategic solutions across program management, IT, logistics, and compliance for public sector clients. He also held leadership roles at Verizon, where he directed the Business Group’s Department of Defense sales organization. His portfolio included support for military departments, combatant commands, and the U.K. Ministry of Defence. Earlier, as a Managing Principal at Verizon, Fred led sales operations for the Intelligence Community and defense agencies.

Fred retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2011 after 24 years of distinguished service, concluding his career as a Lieutenant Colonel. His military roles included leadership positions as a Communications Officer, Director of Technology, and Director of Strategic Planning at agencies such as the Defense Finance and Accounting Service and the Defense Information Systems Agency. He also served in Afghanistan and commanded multiple communications units throughout his tenure.

He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Business (Summa Cum Laude) from Mary Washington College. He is also a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Amphibious Warfare School and Command and Staff College. Fred’s military honors include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service and Navy Commendation Medals, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
