Tara Edwards serves as Strativia’s Director of Operations for the Civilian Sector, where she leads the execution of service delivery across a broad range of federal civilian agencies. She ensures that all program operations align with mission goals, meet contractual obligations, and uphold the company’s rigorous standards for performance and client satisfaction.
Tara oversees multidisciplinary project teams supporting agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Her leadership is marked by her deep understanding of government operations, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to program risk mitigation and issue resolution. She also partners with the business development team to support capture, technical solutioning, and proposal development.
A strong advocate of quality-driven operations, Tara ensures her programs follow Strativia’s certified quality management frameworks—including ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 27001 (Information Security), and CMMI Level 3 (Process Maturity). She actively participates in internal and external quality reviews to maintain compliance, promote continuous improvement, and reinforce the company’s operational excellence across all civilian programs.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
