Jody Gaines Richardson

Jody Gaines Richardson serves as Strativia’s Director of Human Resources, where she leads the development and execution of people-centered strategies that support the company’s growth, compliance, and operational success. With over 27 years of progressive HR experience, she oversees a full spectrum of functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation analysis, training, policy development, performance management, and compliance with federal and state employment regulations.

 

At Strativia, Jody is instrumental in building a high-performance workforce while upholding a positive and compliant workplace culture. She plays a key role in aligning human capital strategies with corporate goals, supporting both current operations and future scaling. Her leadership extends to workforce planning, internal audits, recruiting operations, and benefits programs that enhance employee engagement and retention. She is deeply involved in internal process improvement initiatives and supports quality audits to ensure the company’s HR practices align with Strativia’s certified frameworks under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001, and CMMI Level 3.

 

Throughout her career, Jody has led HR departments in both unionized and non-union environments, bringing expertise in grievance resolution, negotiation strategy, compliance investigations, and cultural transformation. She is widely respected for her ability to support leadership and staff with empathy, integrity, and operational discipline.

 

Jody holds a Master’s degree in Communication from The University of Akron and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Delaware State University, where she earned a bowling scholarship and competed on the men’s team prior to the establishment of the women’s program.

 

A proud Washington, D.C. native, Jody enjoys spending time on the water, watching sports, and being with her family. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Royal Prince, and is the proud mother of Jazmyn, a collegiate basketball player, and Xavier, a multi-sport high school athlete.
